The special care baby unit has level three intensive care facilities which mean it has the infrastructure and skilled staff to care for very preterm and sick babies. The birthing rooms on the Birth Centre are single, en-suite, with modern delivery beds and state-of-the-art equipment to monitor the mother and the baby in labour.
